Strawberry time...

Our local strawberry garden has started to sell their strawberries 'at the gate'.. they are so much sweeter and tastier than the supermarket ones.. So before they all disapeared I thought I had best get a shot of them..

You get everything so early. Our strawberry season doesn't start until June. Probably because you don't have to melt away snow first.

Mmmm, yummo. I adore 'proper' strawberries, so different from the bullets in the supermarket. The new local whole-foods store is sourcing them from local farmers and those ones are so good they sell out just about instantly.
