Just returned from a stunning night out with @dide and Chook... It was Chooks birthday yesterday so we met them at one of their favourite camp sites and had tea with them and while Chook and Farmer George mulled over a beer/wine they solved all the problems of the world @dide and I went for a walk to check out the sunset ... we were not disappointed a truely spectacular sight ... though it did not go without incident .. I went to check out the rock pools as there are sometime huge starfish to be found ..there is a small stream running past... I stepped in to what was just very shallow water then next thing I am over my knees... very quick, quick sand ... called out to @dide to come and get my camera ... lucky I was able to get out with out too much difficulty ... something to be very aware of...
@kiwinanna Yes @dide wanted to help me out ... I said no just move away with the camera's .. I did not care how wet I got as long as my camera was safe .. can you push the fav button Liana... lol...
Wow how scary. I only ever got stuck in quicksand once and that was in the UK. Glad you thought to save your camera. We have to get our priorities right don't we. Lovely shot.
@happypat Yep have my priority's in order .. I had a pretty eventful day yesterday with near misses... mowing the lawn (new rideon) .. head phones on ( radio ones .. singing) .. going under the clothes line... next minute .. my head gets pulled to the side... with a sharp jerk.... the aerial of the head phone got caught in my bra strap on the clothes line ... @dide and I were laughing as to how the ACC form would read if I ended up having to go to the Docter ...
