First light on The Kahikatea's

Another shot from a different angle from my visit to the Kahikatea's... These tree's claim to fame is their contribution to the Butter export business.. They were milled to use to build butter boxes they chose their wood as they are a very straight tree with little in the way of knots and they have very little smell so it does not taint the butter ...
Such a beautiful an tranquil scene, great shot.

Well I hope they are using cardboard these days, seems a shame to,use these stunning trees just for boxes! The morning sun rising behind these is something else!
