Last week while spending some time in Christchurch we did a tour around the Botanical Gardens.. It was interesting to hear all about the masive tree's in the garden some very rare.. Also we were told that after the 2011 earthquake no tree's were damaged but just recently it has been noted that a few tree's are showing signs of stress and it is thought this may be from a result of the earthquake.. The punting tours have been resumed again after having to stop for a while but it is a very relaxing time to drift down the Avon River...
