This is the view we had from the little 'breakfast table' in the bach we were staying ... what a spot we had entertainment while sitting there .. a shag ( cormorent) caught an eel and twisted and struggled with it for a short time and then 'gulped' it down and then a group of Royal Spoonbills walked past .. you can see them through the windwo just above the teapot handle.. After telling Mike about both birds ... he had never seen a Shag have such a big eel or the Spoonbills on that river they are usually up the coast a bit .. so we felt a bit special... Thank you all for the lovely comments on my 3 Sisters shot http://365project.org/julzmaioro/365/2019-04-10
