Following on from the Train shots yesterday which is a great drawcard to our small country town.. just started over the last few weeks is a vintage boat taking out 'Harbour' cruises.. The Esturary is very tidal so can only run when the tides are at the 'right' time of day .. So as I saw they where sailing today I went into town to see the Ratahi chugg her way out of town for a two hour cruise up the harbour and return while there was still water in the Estuary .. By the response I had to my photo's I put on the 'town' fb page it was very well received and could not of got a better morning for it .. The steam/smoke you can see just left of centre is from the local Steel Mill...
Beautiful view of your home town area, is good to see where you live. Lovely water shot too, talked to Brian last night, your morning, he was waiting until the frost had gone before he moved the cows...it was cold he said.
