Kowhai... Sophora..

Today I went into my Sister's garden in hope of seeing and photographing some Tui's.. The Tui's were a bit scarce but I had to get a shot of the beautiful Kowhai flowers.. The flowering season is so short so have to make the most of them.

I just love it. Our Kowhai is a long way off flowering. I wonder if there are different types of this tree?
