Just thought I would share one of the things that I am doing with my day while I am in recuperation from my surgery ... I have had this colouring for adults book for some time but I think have only done one other picture and the GD's and done a little bit .. but I am really enjoying this at the moment .. an artist I am not but I do love colour .. perhaps you can tell ..
Oh, this is super! It's great to do things like this when you have the time ... so often we have other things to do. Just lovely. I hope the recuperation is going well. xx
That’s a very creative and relaxing activity. I also have some colouring books tucked away for ‘when I have time’ but haven’t done much with them yet! Hope your recovery continues to go well.
Love your bright colours. I too have a colouring book and I did one this morning - I have had it since I retired nearly five years ago though. Good things take time - like recovery from surgery. Heal well soon.
Love your detail coloring. We have a University art professor living in our community that actually has taught a couple of classes on coloring. It is supposed to be relaxing and much like meditating.
Color! Such a sooting activity. Do you know the fiber artist Kaffe Fassett? I first met him through his book, Glorious Color. And then, I got to take classes with him! Brandon, his partner, asked if I knew how to knit and purl and I said yes, so he told me to take the knitting class with them. What he didn't tell me was that you had to count and then switch from knitting to purling and back within the same row!! I was set aside and given a tutorial to work by myself on one pattern while the rest of the class made these super complicated blocks. Take care . . .
