The Farmers had a big day cutting hay today.. Good all the tractors are 4 wheel drive these day's so more of the steeper parts can get cut.. Tomorrow they will flip it to fluff it out to get the bottom dry and then hopefully bale the next day.. watch this space..
You have to have a bit of nerve to cut on that hill. I dare say you are used to it but not many UK farmers would cut on a hill like that. I know you utilise your grass much more than we do….we would get the hay in then turn the milking cows into the field to eat round the edges & on that hill top.
@happypat they didn't cut the hill to the left so the milkers will graze that when we have the hay off.. I tend not to look when they cut the steep hills.. but FG certainly knows these hills..
