While out for a walk with @dide yesterday we came across this large patch of blackberries and I loved with the Autumn colour on the leaves. It's not often a farmer would get excited about blackberries as it is something that they do their best to keep out of their pastures.. The berries were a little way off from being ready to harvest..
Ooh autumn colour…..a very different look for 365! Quite marvellous to see the alternative seasons on the other side if the world! Harry is having a little battle with blackberry shoots coming through. A legacy of three years overgrown garden. I think it’s an on going job. He hits every shoot with his spade but they come from all the roots in the soil.
@happypat once a farmer always a farmer.. hard in the garden as you don't want to blanket spray.. he will win.
We don't get much real autumn colour this far North in NZ so appreciate it when we do..
