While mowing the lawn this morning I noticed this rose flowering.. It is a favourite of mine but only flowers for a short time and only once at the beginning of the season. It can be a bit rampant in the garden as it suckers up and spreads. I put a photo of it on FB as I did not know the name of it and a few minutes later I had the name. She also said that it is known as Bert in her area as everyone got a cutting from Bert several years ago.. So I will call it Bert as well.
