Mt Difficulty Winery..

Today we ventured south of Queenstown to Cromwell and we went to a nearby winery.. Had a beautiful Charcuterie board/ Ploughmans lunch.. Stunning outlook over the vineyard and the surrounding hills. The hills are covered in wild thyme.. which smelt amazing.

@dide @maggiemae We had a 10 minute storage on the way back due to doing some blasting on the cliff face.. so I ducked out of the car and picked a bunch.. hopefully it will make it home..

Love those clumps of purple thyme! A very strange name for a wine company…there must be a story there….perhaps difficult growing vines in that rocky mountain landscape!
