I was at the computer about to upload my photo for the day when I saw this little guy out the window..We have a small family of black rabbits on the farm that look very cute but not really welcome on the dairy farm as they dig holes everywhere and there is a danger of either stock or Farmers breaking an ankle, and they do eat a lot of grass not to mention my plant's in the garden.
@maggiemae I have heard that if you see one black rabbit there are 90 brown/grey.. And we have seen 3 or 4 around.. that's alot of rabbits.. just srpund the house paddock..
Nice closeup. We have rabbits too, but they seem to stay out of our backyards even though I think they could easily burrow under the fence. Ours are always brown with very large ears.
The Chinese folk celebrate their New Year on Sunday 22nd, and this year it's the Year of the Rabbit - rabbits are purported to bring good luck and prosperity. So maybe all these rabbits are a good sign 😊
