It's going to be a long job..

Carrying on from yesterday' job the lads started to cut up the pumpkin and carry it away. I think it will take them some time.
We are still being battered by Cyclone Gabrielle with very strong winds. We had 105mm rain overnight, lost a couple of tree's on the farm, and FB had to get the tractor out when he got a call at 11pm to say there was a tree on the road. We have escaped what a lot of others have suffered, several roads in a nearby area that have completely slipped away.
And very devastating that a volunteer Fireman is missing after he went into a house that was in danger of being in the path of a slip, and the house was engulfed.
