Team Talk

Spent the day today following the two youngest GD's with their riding. They were part of a Hunt that was riding over a beautiful property in a nearby district. This is the end of the day. The Hounds are looking a bit dirty as they were running through mud flats, streams and jumping into cow trough's.. a big day for all. And Nana certainly achieved her step count..

I reckon there are at least 20 hounds there! A very smart outfit! I always like it when there are red coats involved! I bet you don’t have much objection in NZ as there is in the UK.

@happypat 24 hounds.. Red coats are the Huntsman and the leaders.. I guess there is some that object but as it is Hares they 'hunt they seem to outsmart the Hounds every time.. We saw about 4 today but they all got away.. such a great all age group and friendly bunch..

@briaan it is quite a site to see.. Hares are the quarry here but they are clever and confuse the hounds by doubling back.
