Venus and the Moon..

I was replying to emails tonight when I looked out the window and saw this.. grabbed my phone and took a few shot.
Now wishing I took the camera and did the shot proper with tripod etc..
A photography ASTRO friend said on fb that tonight was the night to catch the Moon and Venus so close together.. and a bonus with the after sunset colours..

I noticed the moon and Venus last night as I walked back from the pub! Not quite fully dark, so they dominated the sky.
