Today we should be celebrating our daughter's 44th birthday. But instead it is a day of mixed emotions. Kylie passed away 11 years ago from breast cancer.
So please take this as a reminder to do all your checks that are offered and don't ignore any signs.
We spent the day with part of the family, and had many happy memories of our girl..

A timely reminder to always check for lumps. My sister lives in the UK and they stop doing mammograms on women when they reach 75. When she was 79 she discovered a lump in her breast and was diagnosed with cancer. She is 81 now but I do think xrays shouldn't have a stop days. If the cancer had been diagnosed earlier she may not have had a mastectomy
