Had to take a trip today to the other side of Auckland, and while there we visited a nearby Regional Park that we had not been before. Lovely beaches and lots of flowering Pohutukawa, Here is one in full flower flanked by the majestic Norfolk pines and under the centre Norfolk you can see Rangitoto Island with it's distinctive cone shape.
