Another Lone Tree..

This was taken in Cornwall Park yesterday looking out over the Manukau Harbour towards the Bar.. This is a Pohutukawa Tree, sometimes known as the New Zealand Christmas Tree, because of the scarlet red flowers it bears at Christmas time... Note to self go back in December....

Great shot - we have a whopping great Pohutakawa in our back yard, I love them but the guttering doesn't!

A really well-balanced shot - you'll have to go back in the summer and show us what it looks like then. Perhaps you could photoshop it onto the top of One Tree Hill, so that it actually has a tree once more!
