Came across this little guy at the Botanical Gardens yesterday.. These little Gecko's are quite common in NZ but as you can imagine are pretty well disguised ...

Well thanks to @dide 's reseach and Google she found out that some species do eat their eggs if they this they would be sterile or not viable.... Isn't nature a fantastic think... and fancy being Johnny on the spot to witness this..
