Duck pond

We have our first little family of ducks on our pond.. They Mum & Dad are being very protective of the little ones.. as soon as I approached they were leading the babies across the pond to the safety of the weed and then flew off to distract the enemy... me and my camera..

This is lovely. We have a small pond which attracted a family of ducks this year ... they slowly got used to me going down and watching. Very comical to watch their heads going underwater and their bottoms coming up.
