Glamping.. Glamour Camping.... While walking along the beach today I looked up and saw this site, It is the local resorts latest venture and has proved popular over the warmer months.. It looks as though someone is in residents tonight.. Checked out the website and for a mere $450 you could stay the night, you will be very well looked after, wine dinner and breakfast (goumet) and an open air bath under the stars, and solar powered... just hope you don't sleep walk 'cause it is quite a way to fall....
I bet it has a wonderful view and is on private property - hence the money! One does feel you could do this yourself if you had all the equipment etc. And not pay that sort of money! Now we are in a new age bracket, we prefer hotelamping!
He looks like he is just sitting looking at that wonderful veiw.....seems quite expensive for the basics...that view is expensive! Would be worth it if you lived in the middle of a city though. I would have thought you New Zealaders would have every opportunity to enjoy gorgeous views without having to pay that price!
