Barley Paddock by julzmaioro

Barley Paddock

Have been watching this paddock of 'grass' over the last few months.. It is in a market growing area and lots of trees(hedging) was taken out and replanted and we have been all wondering what with... just this last week it become clear that it is barley which we suspect will be soon cut and used for crop fodder... So thought I had best take a shot while it is still here.... Then I think it would be ploughed up and planted in some Market garden crop... watch this space..
Beautiful capture. Fav

This is really lovely - I like the way you have filled 2/3 of the shot with the barley and left a little sky. Fav

It looks a good crop...a very common sight in the UK of course but relatively unusual in NZ I would guess!
