As I have had a busy day with Grandies and farm stuff today I thought I would share another photo of my beloved Pohutukawa.. They grow very prolifically on the Awhitu Peninsula, and at the moment all the valley's are alive with the bright red covered tree's.. @ethelperry commented that she was enjoying my Pohutukawa images so this one is for you....
Not only beautiful close up but marvellous to see them growing prolifically in the bush . Thank you, Julia, and I love seeing the beautiful countryside where you live
This is lovely. I'd never seen or heard of this shrub until I found you on 365. I decided to follow you because i love your pictures and I don't have a 365 friend in New Zealand.
@susiemc Thank you Sue, The Pohutukawa can grow into an enormous tree if left untrimmed, and usually found in coastal area's. I have two friends that are on her as well that you may like to follow .. @dide an @rustymonkey I hope I can find something else that will keep you interested in our lovely country..
