Dad....

Today my Dad would of been 93.. he past away 18 years ago .. and I still miss him daily.. He was a man of the land and just a good bloke.. always had a joke and a laugh.. This photo was taken of him just before he went off to war to serve King and Country.. he served in the North Africa Desert and Italy and came home injured with shrapnel.. He never talked much about his time over there .. This is a photo that was on the side board at home when I was a kid and I have done a little extra reediting... Miss you Dad...

Lovely idea to post this photo today. My Dad was also in the North Africa Desert and he too would have been 93 this year. That's quite a coincidence. I wonder if they ever met.
