Across the road from my other shot for today is the Estuary and the Tamakae Reserve.. you can see the Band Rotunda, and a collection of Historical Buildings.. on the right is the 'Old Jail', an 1890 Cottage, Hartman House , a creamery, and the Museum in behind.. Today unfortunately the tide was out and it clearly shows where 'Waiuku' got it's name from... Wai- Water Uku - Muddy....
Nice shot of the old buildings. Next time I go through Waiuku I need to take more time to have a proper look around; it looks like an interesting place.
