Forgotton....

As we were driving through Central Otago/ Maniatoto we stopped at Middlemarch.. This is a small Rural town that has been put on the map as the start/finish of the infamous Central Otago Rail trail.. It is also well known as the town the holds a Bachelor Ball annually to try and get girls/ladies into the very much a male dominated area..

The old truck brightens the area up with its colour! There is a good cafe there too!

Neat image - summed up Middlemarch in the middle of winter quite nicely!
Hard to believe how it becomes a bustling centre when the summer comes and the cyclists all arrive.
