Yesterday when @dide and arrived at the Bird Sanctuary Hide.. there were several very elderly ladies there and a couple of careers .. We presume from a resthome.. They were so excited about being there and seeing the birds.. They had to come in a fairly rough track but they were not fazed.. as you can see by this photo most had walkers and one was in a wheelchair.. Great for them to have outings like this..
Really neat to see these oldies out and about - and yes, the track was an easy walk for us, but must have been a bit of a challenge for the old dears and their carers. It was such a nice place for them to visit and I was impressed that someone had thought to take them there.
