Omapere Sand Dunes.. and stormy sky's.

I am on catch up mode after returning from a few day's away in the lovely Hokianga Harbour in the North.. This is the Mouth of the Harbour and on the North side is a huge Sand Dune which just glows in the early morning and late afternoon light.. A popular spot for the young at heart to go to and slide down the dunes on boogy boards..

We stayed here a night and thought it a wonderful place - so wild and beautiful! The light seemed to change all the time!

Beautiful scene, that sky looks threatening. Your image takes me back 20 years when I sat in almost the same spot eating hot cross buns on a Good Friday morning!
