Duck tagging..

This weekend my son has been helping the local Acclimitisation Society with tagging of duck, this is done to see how they are breeding, what area they are covering, and a bit of an idea of the local numbers.. He took his two daughters along as they are needed to get in the cages to hand out to the men to carry to the taggers.. and then they are released .. The girls love it, I am pleased they have not got my Mothers bird phobia...

Not at this stage.. season is 4 weeks in may.. they all lived to tell the tale... had one escapee that got away without a tag..
