This was the heat after Taryns race .. and just as these two girls got over the finish line they tipped out of their boats.. The girl on the left was the first one out and as she came up from her dunking she raised her arm with a big fist pump.. she knew she was over the line and there fore claimed her 2nd placing .. and the same with the girl on the right .. just over and 'in.. The girl in the yellow boat is one of Taryn team mates and was probably hoping to be religated to 2nd place .. but no she got a 4th ...
They all seem to be going in different directions Julz or am I looking at it wrong? I don’t think the girls would mind a dip in the water in your heat!
@happypat No you are looking at it right .. the one's over the back are just on their way to the start line for their turn to race.. so they 'skirt' around the back of the track and then go up the far side ... so each 2k race they have to row 4 k's ... so Taryn would of rowed 12 k's yesterday .. only got one race today and that is done and dusted with a 2nd placing and a PB .. so she pretty wrapt.. I will go down tomorrow for the finals..
