Stunning pink....that is such a striking pink....wonder why you have no luck....I thought clematis usually fairly easy to grow! Might be too dry perhaps.
My dad was great at growing clematis. We had an old coal house, which ended up covered in huge clematis flowers. Mum has a good one growing in Scotland now.
