Ever heard of the Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne? It's a bridge full with thousands of these locks, all with names of couples (or sometimes also friends etc.) who put it on the railing and then threw the key into the river.
Towns all over Germany (and now I think already all round the world) followed the example, and Minden has one too.
What a great photo subject! I like the DOF on this one.

Wunderbares Foto, vorallem mit dem Fokus! Ja in Köln war ich auch schon auf der Hohenzollern Brücke. Hab gehört die soll sich schon um einige Millimeter neigen wegen dem Gewicht der Schlösser :P
