Yup this is my lens on the right... #fail
Anyways, today after a loooong sleep we went to see the Palatine Hill, Roman Forum and finally the Coliseum. It was AMAZING! *-*
And we had more than 20°C today :D
And I ate Italian pasta which was amazing too :D
I'm not able to write something more in detail because I have to get up at 6AM tomorrow so we can make the Sistine Chapel without having to queue long time... Yawn, nothing for a late riser like me :/
I love the reflected view, here! It would have been hard to get this shot without the camera in the corner, so not a #fail at all. It sounds like you already have a full day, however if you find yourself with free time, I suggest going to Santa Croce de Jerusalem. It's a church just outside the walls of Rome. When you go in, follow the left side of the church, and go up the ramp that winds to the left. You will end up in a room where they have the Titulus Crucis. It's a potentially authentic Crucifixion relic. The Titulus was the plaque placed on the Cross that read "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews" in Latin, Hebrew, and Greek. The surviving section (if it's authentic) is the middle third of the full board, but the lettering is still easy to see carved into the wood. Carbon dating puts it to the right time period, and the wood is from Jerusalem, so it may very well be authentic.
