Year 2: 177/365
I got my braces removed today. Everyone keeps telling me it looks great but it hurt like hell and I don't even really like it :/ For some reason I miss my braces so hard and I know that's weird but I can't help it...
It feels also still a bit wrong to be smiling and laughing, as my thoughts are still with the plane crash victims all the time but I have spring break now and we're going to Paris tomorrow. I'll try really hard to enjoy it because I'm sure they all wouldn't have wanted the world to be that sad...
Me being in Paris also means I can't upload (only comment) for a week as my laptop is too broken to actually take it. So don't wonder please :) See you in a week!
Looks great. My daughter got hers off in December after having them for 3 years. It's an adjustment to get used to. Her teeth hurt for a couple of days after she got them taken off. Enjoy Paris!
Hi, Hope you enjoy my pics and ramblings. I found you comments regarding the air disaster very interesting. The meaningless death of nearly 150 people in an airplane is shocking.
I wonder how many people around the world died of malnutrition on that day and how much food was wasted in the "civilised world".
Enjoy Paris. Look forward to seeing more of your energy in images.
@tiedmark Good question. It doesn't make the air disaster any less shocking becauss there were 64 people from my province, but of course you should never forget how many people die of hunger each day too... Thanks for the follow! :)
@justaspark Yes, the crash was terrible. Your compassion, communication skills and photos do much to balance the mood. I work one day a week in an Oxfam bookshop (other charities are available😃) i am not sure that totally fixes world hunger. I do, however, get some great books.
