Whew! This ONS3 challenge to capture advertising in its environment occupied my thoughts throughout the day, but it wasn't until half an hour before midnight that I realized I just had to pick something and do it. So here it is.
The photo I *really* wanted to capture was of sitting in bumper to bumper traffic going into Chicago, following lines of red tail lights when the "L" commuter train came flying along, parallel to the traffic. "Give up annoying traffic jams and ride the train!" But my camera was in the back seat, and I was driving, so *that* advertising image will have to remain in my mind.
@northy -- as my knitting teacher said, " you shop well." and I collect yarn better than I knit. :) @tishpics -- this was a challenge for "advertisement" and that's why the book is so prominent.
