It was supposed to be the one clear day of this week . . . the weather report showed sun and no rain forecast. It turned out to be a misty rainy day, but the mountains are still spectacular.
I always wish I could haul my main camera and some giant lenses on these hikes but I can only take my little point and shoot since I have to haul food, water, cool weather gear, rain gear, sun gear, etc etc etc.
Such a beautiful landscape and scenery. Wonderfully captured. Thank you for your comments and the challenge. I will do my very best to fulfill it and time to start thinking! I have looked through your images if the past couple of months, you have some amazing shot, fantastic composition and focus and love your style. For this challenge what do you think of the following: capture any subject but with an element of blur- it can be motion blur, extremely shallow DOF or deliberate out if focus. Would you be happy with it? Looking fwdto seeing your images and gladly following you too
@roseolivia -- thanks for the challenge . . . I typically work hard at getting things in focus (not always successful, but it's a goal) so having a challenge to include blur artistically will be a challenge indeed, and an interesting one for me.

Thank you all for your lovely comments! It really was raining -- but barely misty at the point this photo was taken, and I had almost decided to turn around and go back down when the clouds lifted a bit. I did some editing to get the haze out of the photo, and perhaps that's what gives it a bit of blue, @synke? And @fishy, after this crazy year of travel I've been doing (and loving), I'm looking forward to a bit of "at home" next year!
Gorgeous landscape! Your globe trotting never ceases. I can't believe all the stops you have made over the course of this year. It's always fun to stop by and see where Junko is now. :)
