My friend and I traded skills today: Jan is amazing and can hand-stitch the binding onto my quilt with exceptionally fine stitches, talk on the phone, and answer my questions about her book all at the same time. I worked on editing her book.
Clever candid that conveys all you describe really well. The tones -- the red of her shirt merging with the quilted pillows in the background also work to integrate the context and the figure. Nicely done!
