Schloss Nymphenburg Concert by jyokota

Schloss Nymphenburg Concert

Invited to a wonderful evening of good music in a magical setting in a palace, a young cellist and pianist played Schumann, Beethoven, Shostakovich, and more. I was intrigued by the intense markings on the page, showing how much he'd studied his music, and I cropped keep the chandelier palace setting and the people who are enjoying fresh air at intermission (no air conditioning).

The markings and dog-eared edges of the pages really reveal the musician's commendable depth of study for this piece. How amazing, to listen to this music in a palace, too. Looks as though you are having a wonderful trip!

Amazing insight into the world of a musician.

Wonderful POV and DOF. If it was played with such intensity it must have been beautiful.

This is beautifully presented and one can feel the grandeur of the event with the high windows and ceilings of the Schloss and I can almost feel the acoustics. I hope that it was a good night too.

I am intrigued on the notes over partiture too. Maybe they are some kind of hints for playing it with more feelings

@jborrases -- I'm not sure, as I only recognize the bowing marks. At first, I assumed that the numbers had to do with fingerings but at his level of performance, that doesn't seem appropriate. Now I'm curious, too.

@annied @lsanderson55 @joansmor @photographycrazy @eyesmile @eyesmile @fntngrma @rosiekerr @dibzgreasley @joansmor @julieco @seanna @ceilidh @callymazoo -- thanks for your comments! It truly was a special place, a lovely evening, and a beautiful experience all together. Except I lost my camera softness, and the extra SD card I keep in it. I think I left it outside in the dark after taking photos of the swans.
