Shurei no Mon by jyokota

Shurei no Mon

As a child, we took all visitors from mainland Japan to see this gate, the entrance to the Shuri Castle which was completely demolished during WWII. During my childhood, Ryukyu University campus was on the grounds. But the year after I left, the university was moved and now they have reconstructed the castle so well that it's designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
