wowza! i should maybe make a visit to my local botanical garden and see what they have although i'm pretty sure there'd be nothing spectacular like this. aces!
The b&w treatment makes for such a different feel than in color, doesn't it? I really like how it emphasizes the silhouettes within the grandeur. Am tagging yours now.
Thank you all for your kind comments and favs. Imagine my surprise when my black and white of colored holiday lights makes it to the TT ! I was inspired to post mine as a horizontal b&w counterbalance to Taffy's vertical golden one -- it's always such fun to go places with your photo buddy and post photos that tell two versions of the same story. In fact, spending time with photo buddies and being inspired as you photograph together, process, and discuss what works and doesn't is a very motivating aspect of photography as a hobby. And then to have 365 friends from all around the world view and respond makes the completion of the cycle special. Thank you, all!

But we’re in Lincolnshire, UK. I guess they’re worldwide, and pretty spectacular everywhere.
