Some of you may recall that in January, I had the opportunity to be on the jury for the Bologna Book Fair original illustration exhibition. We had 3200+ submissions, and I photographed tables and tables of artwork, resembling ocean waves. I'm posting this photo in my "extras" album because here's what it looks like when they are matted, framed and on the wall. Also, each piece of art in this exhibition ended up in the catalog to give exposure to the artist in the eyes of publishers.
I like the leading lines in this -- it's a good composition in its own right. And then it also gives us a good feel of the transition from stacks on table to art for the public.
