How were the views from the bald? When I went out there last month the bald was in the middle of a cloud so there was no visibility. I could barely see the line of trees in the distance from where y'all are sitting. Shame our trips didn't cross a meet-up would have been fun!

@ladygator -- our views were beautiful and we'll likely post some later. It was hot and sunny that day. Yes, you're right -- it really is too bad our trips didn't coincide! @joansmor was also driving through with her sister the week before we were there.
