If you've read @darylo 's entry, you know that we got in over our heads on what was supposed to be a moderate trail. Mud on the trail and a steep incline and decline made the hike feel a LOT longer! This was toward the beginning, before we knew what we were getting into -- and how painful our knees, backs, and shoulders would be about 5 hours later when we got back to the car!
Junko's photo shows us taking a (long) rest before wandering the mountain top, avoiding walking back as long as we could. http://365project.org/jyokota/omake/2015-10-30
Lovely capture Taffy! Really enjoying all your shots and stories! I know I would not have been able to keep up with you on this hike! There are no mountains in Chicago are there? Lol!
@myhrhelper Caves Cove tomorrow if it doesn't rain! Klingman's Dome is the one Daryl wen tup to at the end of the day -- Junko and I could barely walk by then!
I am enjoying the photos and narratives and the comments on everybody's posts
So fun!
