when i lift the lid of the compost there are millions of these, very tiny and apparently blind. I used extension tubes and reverse mounted the lens to see them. very tricky to focus with.
you did a very good job.. it is an amazing capture

I used to have a colony of those (or something similar) in my fridge. They seem to like onions, tomatoes, etc (or what used to be onions, tomatoes and stuff like that)
