Thanks, was looking at it, before you posted the link, and see two options really. One with infinity focus glass. These are double/triple the price as the cheaper ones, non-infinity, flanged type (the one in your link). Have to do some more browsing, also for the Helios lens as don't have a lot of money to spend.
@overalvandaan i had a quick browse, the prices vary a lot, and if you can stand waiting for auctions try and get a bargain! i use the simple one and it works fine with this lens.. some old lenses have an aperture pin so i have two versions, one has a sill to keep the pin depressed, but the helios doesnt have it so the cheapy will do. I tried an infinity focus one on another setup and it gave a lot of glow to the images and could never get a crisp focus. there are other ones that allow the camera to communicate with a lens for autofocus but you dont need one of those either.
What a wonderful shot! I love how the flowers seem to blend in with the background with your marvelous DoF.
I have quickly perused your album and discovered you have done it all (and done it well, BTW!)
BUT - I did not notice any shots with negative space although you have probably done that in the past. I just did not see them.
So, your challenge is to use negative space in your photo.
Hi Kali - I am wondering if you would be interested in co-hosting the monthly challenges? Because the timing is different than other challenges the winner of the challenge selects the next month topic but does not post the new challenge because the timing is important. For example the finalists of the February challenge is going to be voted on in March and the winner of the February challenge will have a chance to select April's theme. If you are interested please e-mail me at kettlemorainestudios@gmail.com I will give you more information - thanks
