my adventures shooting from the hip in town were not very successful, as I had the wrong iso setting , this was the only one that wasnt totally blown out or pointed at the ceiling!
ocolom sooc.
Good on you for posting it. Its imperfections resonate with my thoughts about supermarkets. Even the older lady who can't reach what she wants is priceless. All the things at eye level are probably full of sugar and crap she doesn't want ......don't start me!
@ethelperry I have just realised why Im always picking things off floor level or obscure corners of distant aisles at the supermarket. Kali, I cant even begin to understand how this technique succeeds but I suppose in time, you learn exactly how to work out what will be in the frame. As mine is a hand held which is never going to hang around my neck, I don't think it is an approach I could consider. Good effort.
I also really commend your courage in posting non-perfection. This is one way how we learn as a community. I have never understood putting things so high that you have to climb the blooming shelves.
Love this, you have caught a priceless moment. I am glad to see the woman persisting in her choice - it is a well known marketing strategy to place lesser known brands on the top or bottom shelf out of eye-line. So that's where I always look first if I go to the supermarket but these days there is way too much choice for my liking.
@joysabin@adayinmallacoota yes supermarkets etc use very cunning ploys, i have heard it said for the healthiest shop limit your visit to the supermarket to the outer aisles and avoid the middle
