Excellent half and half. I have been looking through your photos and I see that your son took his own life. My daughter Zoe also took her own life on 3 February 2013. She suffered from depression after her previous partner died of cancer 6 years earlier but everything was looking bright when she met Jason, they were due to be married in March 2013 but she decided to stop taking anti depressant tablets and fell into a deeper depression she could not find her way out of. She was 36 years old.
Like you I find photography is great therapy and I am so glad you continued to take photos. We don't ever get over the loss of a child whatever their age, but I now have more bright days than dark ones. We do have to reach acceptance however difficult that may seem. Take care. xx
