emergence

This creature is in the process of shedding its old skin and emerging as a flying insect. i noticed it wriggling like a slender 2cm long caterpillar , the rear part anchored to the doorstep and had no clue what was about to transpire until i got the macro out and saw flailing legs and the face push out , we must walk past events like this everyday without noticing.
Super eye and focus, Kali! :)

You were very quick with the camera for this shot - or maybe this process took over and hour...day?

Well spotted. I probably would have stepped on it, and not even know that it was there. OOPS...
