@blueberry1222 these are tasty, as they go red they sweeten so that you can eat them as is, but underripe they are tart and i will cook them in shortcake eventually, i popped these in the freezer until i have collected them all
@kerosene they have a tartness to them , especially the skin , usually they are used cooked with sugar, but as i explained to krista they ripen and soften and sweeten to a rich fruitiness if you can wait.
@joansmor ok, that will be a challenge, as i dont personally celebrate the usual things... but being downunder our summery christmas will be different to you anyways! will be on the lookout this week for something...
